Make a Wish

Hi friends!

My life is so crazy right now, so what did I do?  I got up extra early and went to my happy place....my scrapping room yesterday.  I created my little chloe's 2nd bday page.
For this page, I used ctmh's sarita and artbooking.  I had a lot of fun making this page!!  There are so many cool cuts to use for birthdays!

I may not be posting for a few weeks. My family and I have a lot going on: I'm taking wedding pictures for my dear childhood friend, we are 1 of 3 head families for our church's annual pig roast, I'm hosting a baby shower, I have school (college) and all most importantly, my family.  I hope I get to scrap or make cards more after the 15th.  I'm glad I sat down yesterday to enjoy my coffee and scrapping while my house was quiet.  Just what I needed before chaos begins :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Zoorific

Hello!

I thought I'd share another page I made with Artbooking over the weekend.  It didn't turn out as I was expecting, but that's okay.  I didn't change anything....I've learned to realize when my kids see the scrapbooking pages I've made, they aren't going to say, 'mom, why didn't you add this...?" Or "Why did you put that there?"  Rather they are going to know that I loved scrapping and made these pages with lots of love.

This page was made with CTMH's babycakes pack: (I added a little Lagoon cardstock to it)

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm off to relax :)

Lovely

We went to a wedding last night so I thought I'd share the card I made for the bride and groom.  I found a beautiful card HERE (browse this girls blog; you will love her creations!) and wanted to try it.  I've never done a sun burst card before.  Super fun to make!

It seems like I never use flowers anymore so I used them :)

Since we were at the wedding last night, the kids stayed at gramma and grampa's.  I'm waiting for them to get home.  While uploading this card, I came across some pictures my kids took and thought I'd share them.  Oh they make me laugh!  Can't wait to see them!  My house seems too quiet and I'm missing the 'craziness.'

Enjoy your sunday!

All Star

Hi!  I'm back to show you another Proplayer page I made.  This time it is ALL Boy!  :)

I have to say, Artbooking makes making scrapbook pages so fun and easy!

I saw so many consultants adding yellow to the pack and loved it!  It just add so much to it.

My page was based off an awesome sketch from Stuck on Us Sketches.  It's been a long time since I've gotten to visit their blog.  Check them out.  You won't be disappointed!

Thanks again for stopping by!  I love when you visit:)

Have a great rest of your weekend!  I'm really going to enjoy this day, my classes start tomorrow....Ekk!  :)

Freedom

I have to admit when I first saw CTMH's Proplayer paper pack, it was not my favorite.  Thanks to pinterest and ctmh consultant blog hops, I saw some amazing projects. So, here I am this morning, posting a proplayer page :)  This is 1 of 2 pages I made with this pack, so far.  Who says Proplayer is "All" boy?  Not this chick....  With the help of the Sarita and For Always Textiles along with Artbooking, my page was complete.  This picture of my little chloe was taken this past 4th of July.

This was my first time making fabric rosettes.  I can't remember where I found the video on them (if I do, I'll link it up).  They were very easy to make and fun.  For the red flower, I inked up a white strip from the For Always fabric with Ruby ink.

Thank you for stopping by!  I really appreciate it!  Have a great day!

Sassy girl

Hello!

My new product arrived yesterday and it was like Christmas!  I was able to play a little today.  While beau slept after a day at the beach and a trip to town, chloe and I snuck downstairs to my room and this is what I was able to create:

If you have not tried the ctmh artbooking circut cartridge, you need to!  Wow, it's amazing!  I grabbed the new Sarita papers and textiles and got creative! This page was so fun to make!  Especially with my girl right by me pointing saying, "that's chloe, mama."  Oh how I love that sweet voice!

I hope you had a chance to get creative today!

Thanks for stopping by!

A Christmas Card! Say what?!

Hello!  That's right, I'm sharing a Christmas Card today!  Had to change it up a bit :)  Not to mention, while on pinterest last night, I came across a really good idea for Christmas gift giving for the family:

1. Give something everyone needs.
2.  Give something they want.
3.  Give something to wear.
4.  Give something to read. (so far both my kids love books)

GREAT right!  I think we are going to try this with the kids this year!  And I'm adding one because I want to and for fun:

5. Donate all of the above for a child of the same age as beau in chloe that is in need!  Last year we filled shoe boxes- why not go a little bigger?  It seems as those we end up with so much excess in our home....why not help another family?  Plus, great to teach kids young!

Crazy to think about Christmas isn't it??  Anyways on to my card :)

For my card, I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown!  I'm a newbie to this challenge- here's the sketch:

This sketch is great for all those little scraps you have laying around!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget to check out my GIVEAWAY!!

For this card, I used the sketch from Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday:

Artiste. I love it!  I'm even more excited to play with Artbooking! I used scraps from the For Always paperpack and Claire.

Let's Celebrate and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi blogger friends!

I have a card to share today!  The sketch I used was from FUSION Card Challenge and  I mixed it up with Heart 2 Heart- Ombre Challenge.  I had so much fun making this card!  This was my first attempt at the Ombre technique and it was fun and super easy!  I embossed the background with "Let's Celebrate" which was from the July Stamp of the Month (ctmh)- Pinwheels.

I choose this sentiment for a few reasons:

  • All of you who visit my blog!  I love reading your comments and visiting your blog! Thank you!
  • I'm done with school until the end of Aug~ yahoo!
  • My birthday is tomorrow! I've never been one to boast about my birthday but I swear since I was 25 they get better and better!  And I just thought I'd add some fun to my blog and have a giveaway! :)
So....let's have a giveaway shall we?!  Who would like to win this:
